Eaves Trough Cleaning

Keeping your eave troughs clean is an essential and often overlooked part of external building maintenance. Blocked eave troughs can create conditions where water and ice dam up and prevent water from draining away from your property. Serious roof, wall and foundation damage, as well as basement flooding, can occur from clogged eaves troughs. We will be happy to provide you with a free estimate for one-time, spring and fall, or more frequent eaves trough cleaning.

We do not recommend the installation of gutter protectors. Although quite expensive, they can still clog up, especially filling up with smaller particles that pack into the eaves troughs and cannot be reached with a hose. The only way to get rid of blockage is to remove the gutter protectors, which in most cases are nailed to the sub frame plywood under the shingles. This can cause damage and water seepage through the nail holes if they are not all found and caulked.
