We know customers appreciate a company that can offer competitive prices with cleaner equipment. So, switching to propane mowers was just good business sense. Now, our propane mower fleet has grown from two to 75, and we’re experiencing the advantages of expanding our use of propane.

Propane commercial mowers are safe and easy to refuel—they only require the switch-out of a propane cylinder. Outdoor power equipment powered by propane also helps keep the contractor’s biggest expense—fuel—in check with steady, reliable fuel costs compared with diesel.

Customers and pedestrians ask about the cylinders and get to learn how Barnes is helping to reduce its environmental impact by using a cleaner fuel. We use propane for our mowers as well as propane autogas for some of our fleet vehicles.
